stuck on page 5 of google? here is my super simple strategy for boosting ctr and getting your next.js app found.
ranking on page 4 or 5 is basically being invisible. no one clicks there, and ai models don't even look that deep.
here is the exact roadmap i use to fix this for startups.
step 1: answer-first intros
llms and humans both scan the first 100 words. if your intro is just rambling, you've lost them.
- bad: "there are many ways to optimize seo..."
- good: "the fastest way to improve ctr in next.js is using the metadata api."
give them the answer instantly.
step 2: fix your meta snippet
your title and description are basically an ad. if you get impressions but no clicks, your metadata sucks.
use numbers. make it punchy.
step 3: build topic clusters
don't just write one random post. write 5 related ones and link them together. this shows google and ai that you know what you are talking about.
interlinking is huge. i always link my deep dives, like the server actions guide, back to strategy pages.
so yeah, fix your intros, write better titles, and link your stuff. it works.
